Cycle Stop Valves solve one problem properly: holding constant system pressure while stopping the pump from cycling on and off. On a nursery running zones of very different sizes, that is the difference between a pump that lasts and one that does not.
If your pump is starting and stopping repeatedly through a watering cycle, this is usually the fix — and it is cheaper than the pump you are about to replace.

Holds constant pressure by throttling the pump to match demand, instead of cycling it on and off. That means a small tank and no VFD — far less to go wrong and far cheaper than variable-speed. Inlet-to-outlet pressure difference must stay within 125 psi
Preset 40, 50 or 60 psi (stainless version 50 or 60 psi only)
Best for
Preset rather than adjustable — you pick the pressure at order and it holds it, with nothing to drift or be tampered with. Stainless version for corrosive water
