- The High Pressure Misty Mist delivers an ultra fine spray, ideal for mist cooling and raising humidity levels. These nozzles create a 10 foot diameter spray pattern. High Pressure Misty Mist Nozzles should only be installed on the topside of the pipeline. Bottom side installations are not recommended due to the high pressures involved. Space nozzles 10 feet apart with the pipeline suspended as high as possible in the middle of each bay, without interfering with the spray pattern of the nozzle. There is no need to worry about overlapping spray patterns since the goal is to evaporate water into the air versus allowing the water to drop to the soil. Please note that high pressure pumps and filtration equipment are required for these nozzles to work properly. High Pressure Misty Mist Nozzles can not be installed using Assembly Inserts. Threads must be tapped directly into the water pipeline, use the drill & tap installation method explained at the end of this section. Before you begin an installation, we recommend that you install one pipeline based on the guidelines presented. After the first pipeline is installed, tested and adjusted, remaining lines can be set-up following the same specifications as the first. Use High Pressure 360° Misty Mist Nozzles in combination with Dramm Run-Out Valves to control water drip.
